this work has been carried out in the frame of the Project PON Smart Cities called SIGLOD and was aimed at the analysis of the seismic features for three specific sites of the Sicilian region (Bellolampo, PA; Siculiana, AG and Cava dei Modicani, RG). The study has been conducted using different kinds of data and methodologies, also including innovative ideas: firstly, the main seismogenic structures existing in Sicily and in the surrounding areas have been identified; then, the available information on the historical seismicity of the considered territory and on the cynematics of the recognized seismogenic structures has been evaluated.
