Abstract

The document describes the IT infrastructure created at the Irpinia section and on the Azure cloud to reduce the single points of failure of the current data acquisition and transmission system of the seismic stations and guarantee a secure and highly available data flow towards the room of seismic surveillance of Rome. The hardware devices used at the monitoring stations, the network layouts implemented, the configurations adopted and the resources allocated to the Microsoft Azure cloud will be described.
