Founded in 2002, RAPPORTI TECNICI INGV represents an important showcase highlighting the numerous technological and research activities carried out by INGV researchers and technicians, and beyond.  Although its editorial profile does not fall within traditional scientific journals, it is fundamental to the development of the Institute. Published in Italian and English , RAPPORTI TECNICI INGV is designed to also promote works that provide a significant technical, operational, or documentary contribution.

RAPPORTI TECNICI INGV is available online, free of charge for both authors and readers. This editorial model ensures the widest possible dissemination of scientific knowledge in a fair and accessible manner.

An interactive reading experience

The editorial model adopted by RAPPORTI TECNICI INGV consists of monographic publications distributed in flipbook format and in electronic-only (e-only) mode. The flipbook format allows for the dissemination of articles enriched with multimedia and interactive elements, while a dedicated image gallery, available at the time of online publication, displays all images at full resolution, complete with captions.

 

Maximum visibility and recognisability

RAPPORTI TECNICI INGV is identified by the ISSN code 2039-7941 , ensuring maximum visibility and recognisability within the international scientific panorama.

Each issue published since 2012 has been assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), a digital "standard" that uniquely and permanently identifies the document. A process is currently underway to assign DOIs to earlier publications as well.
