The PON‐EMSO InSea (Initiatives in Supporting the consolidation and enhancement of the EMSO infrastructure and related Activities) project aims to upgrade the seafloor infrastructure located offshore Catania and called Western Ionian Sea, the facility managed by INGV (Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia) and part of the European Consortium EMSO (European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and water column Observatory).
