The resolution of a seismic data acquisition system is one of the most interesting parameters in experimental seismology because it affects the quality of the recorded data and is directly dependent on the components used in the instrument, in particular ADCs. In the present work, a measuring bench based on high-performance instrumentation was designed and set up in order to measure this important parameter with great accuracy, in accordance with current regulations on the determination of measurement uncertainty.
