On the occasion of GenOA Week 2025, the CoPER Open Science Working Group (GLOS) coordina- tion team promoted a study day dedicated to the theme “Research Institutions for Equitable and Sustainable Science.” This document was born from the desire to organize and share the reflections that emerged during the meeting on November 20, 2025.The aim of the meeting was to present the actions undertaken in areas of particular relevance, such as copyright in scientific communication and access to knowledge, the impact of security on open science and the state of the art of the Action Plans for the Evaluation Reform in the research institutions that have joined COARA (coara.org).
